06 22nd, 2007Ahhhhh internet marketing - the boon and bane of so many of us. I’ve had so much triumph and so much trouble in this field that it’s almost like an addiction. One of the ways that I feed that addiction is to watch hours and hours of instructional videos! I’ve gathered a bunch of videos that helped me when I was first starting out and I’m still finding good ones everyday to add to this playlist. Before, you could easily start an adwords campaign write a few ads and watch your bank account grow. Now people are smarter and to succeed you must take advantage of all the online marketing tools at your disposal.
But before you can decide which online marketing tools are going to help boost your business you are going to have to develop a sales approach on a particular product or group of products. Don’t be discouraged, you don’t have to come up with strategies all on your own. Do some research on proven internet marketing strategies, or buy a few e-books and copy the strategies of other successful affiliate marketers. See what online marketing tools they use.
So what is your business plan like? No kidding. Just like a conventional business, you do need to strategize your affiliate marketing business around a particular system.
Have you got a system in place? You would naturally be promoting a particular product or service, but have you got an “upsell” to offer? What about an “O.T.O” (one time offer) or “backend” product? Of course, you can solely promote the main product just by driving traffic to the merchant’s website via your affiliate link, but without all these sales components in place, you would be leaving a lot of money on the table, so to speak.
